Spoofing

Misrepresenting inventory: claiming a request comes from an app, site or device it does not.

Bundle spoofing makes cheap inventory look like premium. ads.txt, app-ads.txt and sellers.json exist largely to make spoofing detectable.

Cheap inventory claims to be premium. The transparency files exist so a buyer can catch the mismatch.
