Ad tag

A URL or snippet placed in a page, app or player that triggers an ad request to a specific placement.

A tag identifies the placement and carries macros that the integration fills in at call time. VAST tags return video ad markup; JavaScript tags render display ads; server-side tags are called directly by an app or SSAI stitcher.

One tag per placement, environment and format keeps rules and reporting clean.
